We have supplied and installed server hardware to the Department of Defence, NAATI, and Indigenous
Community Volunteers (ICV) on previous occasions.
We offer the following network infrastructure services:

Network design of LANs and WANs.

Installation of server, desktop and mobile hardware including all critical firmware updates.

Acceptance, checking and burn-in of servers, desktops and laptops.

Installation and configuration of the Windows operating system (OS) e.g. DNS, DHCP, RRAS, etc. and associated
OS components such as IIS 6.0, Sharepoint services and RIS.

Installation and configuration of Exchange, SQL server, Symantec Antivirus Enterprise Edition 8.6, Symantec
Antivirus for SMTP gateways 3.1, Symantec Web Security 3.0, Symantec Antivirus
client 8.6 and Symantec Antivirus/Filtering for Exchange 2.5.
Note: Equivalent antivirus software services can be provided.

Patching and testing of Windows server software, including hot fixes, patches and latest service packs.

Creation of generic email accounts, OU’s and group policies.

Testing and confirmation that all the software services are enabled, available and working to the required
parameters/threshold.

Configuration of server services, accounts, shared data stores and security.

Installation and configuration of system management facilities including console for
antivirus monitoring, spam filtering, web content filtering, UPS monitoring, backup/restore monitoring, switch
and server hardware monitors.

Installation and testing of network devices such as switches, firewall and DSL modem.

Installation and configuration of UPS, including threshold for shutdown and notification. Testing of UPS configuration with
dry run to confirm set up.

Installation of LAN switches and management software. Testing and confirmation that all required patch ports are activated.

Patching and cabling to all the network devices.

Set up and implementation of backup regime of servers and associated content.

Set up of shared printer resources.
F1 Solutions also provides client PC support services. This includes the following.

Set up the desktop image on the Primary Server for imaging other desktops.
