About LLS
Local Land Services (LLS) is a regional New South Wales government agency that collaborates with land managers and the community to enhance primary production within healthy landscapes. Operating across NSW, LLS delivers agricultural advisory services, natural resource management, biosecurity support, and emergency management assistance to rural and regional communities.
LLS oversees the Integration Resource Information System (IRIS), a critical platform used to track and manage land management agreements, project documentation, and stakeholder interactions across its extensive service regions. IRIS is a bespoke system owned by LLS and supported by F1 Solutions under a formal agreement.
What was the challenge?
LLS needed a new support provider for their IRIS platform. They were struggling with legacy document generation systems (DocGen and Crystal Reports) that were no longer meeting the needs of their internal resources and required a high degree of manual effort.
LLS required a partner with technical depth to complement internal capability and stabilise IRIS while modernising legacy document generation tools.

Our solution included establishing a dedicated DevOps platform for LLS to raise bugs and development tasks, managed by experienced IT system specialists, implementing a tiered response system with prioritised response timeframes for critical issues, subject to agreed service levels, and providing monthly support allocations tailored to LLS's needs.
To address the document generation challenges, F1 Solutions implemented a custom solution that seamlessly integrated with IRIS. This solution automated complex document creation, centralised template management, and provided a user-friendly web interface that reduced training requirements.
